Template-free nanostructured poly-3-hexylthiophene (P3HT) films via single pulse-nucleated electrodeposition

چکیده

A template-free method for the electrochemical deposition of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) has been demonstrated. Electrodeposition is preceded by an nucleation step, which essential in producing even film over electrode surface without needing any pre-treatment through coatings or self-assembled monolayers. The produced highly nanostructured, being made up interconnected wire-like structures on order 100 nm, and readily delaminates as intact straightforward analysis. films are also conductive post-treatment chemical dopants. This technique offers a simple route to organic thermoelectric generators, solar cells field effect transistors.
